Today started off good sunny, nice temperatures, awesome day in class (got out ten minutes early!). But then, it got sucky fast.I had an appointment with Kerry, my nutritionist, at 12:30. Since I got out of class early, I figured I may as well just get to her office early to see if she could squeeze me in. I left UNR at 11:40 and drove for THIRTY MINUTES in circles downtown, because there were absolutely NO parking spaces anywhere! God, I HATE downtown Reno. Parking is nonexistant. So finally, after parking about 1 1/2 miles away and running there as fast as I can, I arrive right on time. Only she was late by about ten minutes with her previous appointment. So basically, I ran that far in less than 15 minutes for nothing. Good thing I was wearing my track clothes and running shoes!Anyway, I told her to weigh me backwards, and she obliged. Then I just freaked out on her like I've never done before...crying, saying I don't even feel like I'm really in recovery anymore, how none of my strategies are working, blah blah blah. I wasn't too thrilled with her advice, because it was stuff I've heard before, and I told her, none of it is working. It's like giving me advil when I need morphine. It's not going to work. Then I kinda got in trouble because when we reviewed my food intake for the day as of 1:00, I had only eaten a very small number of calories. Well, duh, that's because I couldn't get any lunch because I was driving or jogging for a freakin' hour before the appointment!So, that appointment was completely pointless.Then I come home only to hear criticism from my dad (as usual). My head hurts. I'm tired, but I need to study, because I have midterms next week. To be exact, I have 4 exams, two quizzes, and two assignments due. I have no time for rest.Just had to rant...I've been studying for almost three hours straight, and I needed a break.
