MY T-TRACK MODEL TRAIN MODULE..still needs scenic but at least i started. · 12/1/2009 This is a public story

because im a member of this train club my hubbys a member of, i TRY to show interest by including myself into the hobby.

at one of the meetings we were all given a chance too ADOPT a T-TRACK Module for ourselves and when asked, share it with the club at shows, etc.

i actually, helped finish one off...

glued the second track on, the facia, and some other things, and then at the meeting adopted the one i made.

while i was making the module, i also had the chance to go thru some leftover buildings and scenic stuff i could purchase to make my module look like a scene, of some sort (antyhing i could dream up!)

well, i dreamed up a trailer park idea...

and id have a topless bar on it called: RED-NEKKID (kinda a play on the word : REDNECK)

so, i took things i thought looked...'redneck' and would fit well in a trailer park.
having had ENOUGH experience in the trailer park lifestyle....lol

heres some pics:

my very own T-Track

a small building (on the left), a gas station, and another building i was considering and thought i actually had (which would have been the bar)but i dont have it...ill need to go grab it..lol

so from here i made (hand make) trailers/mobile homes/campers.

at a later date then this we went to the 4th silent auction and i bid on an airstream trailer and won it, and some big rigs and won them to go with this idea of a trailer park, my idea for the airstream and big rigs was id have the big rig parked next to the airstream and emulate the fact that the guy who lives in the air stream drives MORE space than he lives in..lol

i havnt worked on this at all, its sat in my PC room closet on the top shelf..waiting, i look at it every day.
the buildings sit above me on my desk.
i need too plot out the design on my t-track module so i can decide how many trailers and campers, etc ill need to make my vision into a partial reality...

if youd like to know more about T-TRACK and how its used, what it takes to make one and some ideas, feel free to visit:

while i was there making this thing, a member ROB, told me hed see if he could work together a custom module that i could use for my display cases for my z-scale trail layout.
that way, if the club wanted too take the z-scale layout to a show, all they would have to do is pack up what they wanted and tote the module(s) along.
