just in time for the christmas holiday, how sweet. not.

he was supposed to serve 10 years. apparently, like most prisons, you serve 1/3 the time and it counts as the whole. not sure why they even say 10, if there just going to throw inmates out into the streets again, after 1/3 time served.

im sure hes tickled pink about it.

he not only got his physical freedom, but also his parental freedom. hes no longer legally tied to my son. (thank goodness!) so this man, Daniel Matthew Carmichael can finally go out there and live a life he wants without the threat of ME hounding him for childsupport (which i never persued anyway, no point, he couldnt be found..cant squueeze blood from a turnip).

so, today he walks out a free man.

i suspect he may hit the homeless shelter, speak to a parol officer, and go to the library....maybe even send my yahoo mail account an email...who knows.

the one thing i hate about this whole thing, is hes out now, and allowed too prey on innocent children...again.

if i had MY way, and i ran this country, sexual offenders (of every kind) would have a tattoo put on their forheads.....
saying what they have been convicted of...

dans would read:

:convicted of sexually exploiting children.

that way, ppl would know.
its waaaaaay to easy to never tell anyone and then get close to ppl and ruin the lives of the souls your seeking to prey upon.

how many sexual offenders ARNT registered where they are?
and you think the numbers high for the ones who ARE!

how many havnt even been caught yet.

how many lives did dan ruin? how many little girls did he take the innocence from? how many little girls will never be the same? their childhood lost because of HIS sexual desires (sick)??

1? 10? 100? how many MORE will he infect?

im so very thankful hes out of my sons life, and mine. he may have never touched daniel, but the fallout of the crime itself would have effected daniel if we were still together. theres no way as a kid youd come away from that undamaged to some degree within you.
seeing and UNDERSTANDING *WHAT* it was that put your father away for upwards of 10 years....

hes not MY problem anymore.
and unless i hear more information about him, hes NOT even going to be discussed beyond today.

i divorced him in 2006, my son 'divorced' him this year (2009).

good riddance.

i pray he not fall back into the evil ways he was into when he was convicted...i pray he do things as a normal man would. but i fear, theres no real rehabilitation for crimes of a sexual nature. and hell do what he did and a life wont be the same ever again after hes come in and taken all its light away.

for the victims, i am so sorry. i wish there was something i could do to make things different. but I cant, he has too.

all i can say is..TELL SOMEONE! ANYONE! a teacher, a pastor, a friend, family member...and tell them as soon as it has happened. put him back behind bars!MAKE HIM SERVE 10!

anyone who seeks a child out for their sexua; enjoyment is a scum bag, and deserves to rot.
