I got off work a little early today, which gave me time to go to Petsmart and get some stuff for the animules. Jean-Paul's tank is back to being covered in algae, so I guess my little algae eater plan wasn't as brilliant as I thought it was. Got an undertank filter, two more algae eaters, and some heavy duty algae killer, so maybe this will solve the problem. It's so weird...two years without a single drop of algae and now it's growing like crazy. I also got a larger wattage basking bulb for Noam because his hot spot in his habitat was only getting up to 85 degrees. Needs to be a bit warmer than that, so hopefully this one will work a little better. My venus fly trap is dying :-( I guess my "brilliant" solution to kill the mosquitos that occasionally get into the house wasn't so brilliant after all. I can't for the life of me keep a plant alive. Thank god it's not the same with my animals. Took some adorable pictures of George at work today, but they're locked since obviously it would not be cool to be posting pics of him on the internet where random psychos can see him. So you'll have to sign in if you want to see them. Which reminds me...I need to start on my massive friends-locking project this weekend. I keep having nightmares about random people finding my journal and thinking I'm some sort of narcissistic nutcase who's obsessed with her hair/eyebrows/dogs/insane family/whatever. When I'm done only my friends will be able to think I'm a narcissistic psycho. Blah...this entry is getting more boring by the second.
