Friday the 13th.
We're going to start off with a History lessons for those who don't know this interesting bit of trivia: Friday the 13th became a supertious day because it was the day the Templars were killed off (or at least most of them).Moving on - so today was scary in the extreme - like woah. I was home alone today, Lisa had her Orientation at Sac State today, when a guy came to my house this morning around 11:15-11:30 saying 'I think I have the wrong address, but do you give massages?' to which I answered: "No, what address are you looking for?" and he said "I don't know". At that I point I said "Oh, well, I have to go" and shut and locked the door and hid out in my room. He left only to come back a few minutes later pounding and ringing my doorbell saying 'Hello? Are you still here?'. I thought "Gee, there's no way I'm going back to open the door unless I'm pointing a shotgun out the door first." I didn't do that needless to say - I don't know where the key to my dad's gun safe is. Patrick called after creepydude left and I told him what happened and he told me to call the police - so I did. I talked to WCPD and said it was a non-emergency and told them what happened so they sent out a Police Officer who asked the same questions (It's like going to the hospital jeesh), and then escorted me out of my neighborhood to the largest street near me (Yganico). It really could have been nothing but boy did it scare the crap out of me.After that I hung around Downtown wanting to go home and sleep (I need my afternoon naps, they're very important), but I couldn't I was under instructions from my parents and police to not be at home until my parents arrived home later in the evening. So Sean (he works beverage at fair) and I hung out. We went to Sushi and then went to see Die Hard 4: Live free or Die Hard. A word on Die Hard 4: I like it -- I like movies that go boom. I didn't like that they used the daughter as a motive for Bruce Willis towards the end. I'm of the opinion that children (even if they're grown, they're still someone's child) should not be used as a plot device in movies. It's scary enough for parents to think about their kid going missing or being held hostage without movies portraying it.Then I came home and my parents met me at the front door, yay! I got ready to go to Blues when I noticed someone had stuck money between the house and the bricks that line our walkway (the bricks come up to about waist level). It was five dollars so it paid for me to go to blues but it was still erie/creepy.So that was my Friday the 13th. Wooh. I'm tired. Sleep now! I'm all safe and have my cat with me and parents in the room above me so I'll awake tomorrow to go to SF with my mom.Toodles!
