I've always wanted to compile a list of survivors I've seen speak. I'm starting it now, but I'm pretty certain it's incomplete. I'm also guessing at dates and times; eventually, I'll go through my class notes from all of my HS classes and figure out more concrete dates. List of Holocaust survivors I've seen: Saul Friedlander (spoke at Fletcher Allen on 4/13/08; Davis Auditorium) Elie Wiesel (received his honorary degree from UVM in 2007; at Patrick Gym) Aranka Siegal (spoke at UVM in 2006 in the Billings Center) Egon Schwartz (spoke in one of the big lecture halls at Waterman in 2005 or 2006) Bernard Gotfryd (in one of the Old Mill classrooms; he spoke to two different classes in one day -- I think it was 2005?) Michael Bukanc (in my Holocaust in Literature class w/ Professor Scrase; I think it was 2004?)
