i have another blog to write about dealing with the paperwork we signed yesterday with our lawyer. (pictures will be included)

but this is the news for today (ties in with the news of yesterday)

when we met with Rob (our lawyer friend frim church) yesterday, he went over severl things as he discussed the paperwork we were signing, and ill touch on some of those here.

one was, he was sending the official letter off too dan, to allow him the right too know i was going thru court too have his parental rights removed.
while he was mentioning this, he said he had called indiana and asked them if they could serve dan while he sat in prison (hes due out on the 30th of next month) too which rob, tells us, they told him..."for a cost of 85$" (OUTRAGOUS!)

so he said hed try too contact someone INSIDE the jail itself, and see if he couldnt fax the information over, and they would be kind enough too hand deliver it too dan in person.

another thing he discussed with us was wed face one of two judges on this matter.
one thats a stickler for details...the other whos pretty leanient with the details. wed want (and pray) for the one named: GRAVES.

another issue rob was staing was hed prefer an afternoon session to a morning one. he found he wasnt quite the morning lawyer he thought he was when he was asked too appear in court at 6am yesterday..lol

so, while he went over all of this, and more..he told us hed call us by noon today, with any updates and WHICH lawyer wed get.

we just got the call.

and heres how it all plays out:

dan CAN be served (is being served as i write this) IN the jail no extra cash needed! (God IS good!!)
we got GRAVES, the judge thats easier! (Gods even better!)
ROb has an afternoon court date for this with us! (Gods the BEST!)

so, by the 18th of NOVEMBER...my son will be free and clear of DANIEL MATTHEW CARMICHAEL as his father...allowing craig to follow thru with adopting daniel without any interference from Dan.

i firmly believe this is because we have paid our tithes at church.
we have followed the commandments.
attended church.
been dutiful christians.

and our reward was a blessed issue with the parental rights.
