A quick post about a few things aboutMr. Einsteinand me. I know, it's a entirely selfish post about...me, and Albert Einstein.Albert: Born in Ulm, GermanyMarch 14 Me: Born March 18 in Great Falls Montana, USA which has a very small community named Ulmnear it, and is considered part of the "Great Falls MetropolitanRegion". Albert: Died April 18. Me: Born exactly 11 months later, not dead yet.Albert: German-Jewish extraction. Me: German-Protestantextraction.Albert: Fascinated by a compass at age 5 Me: Fascinated by my brother's Golden Book of Astronomy (published 1955). Latched on to it and never let out of my sight. (Until my brother got it back several years later.)Albert was a civil rights activist. I'm a children's rights activist (everyday in the classroom).Mr. Einstein lived in California for a while. I live in California now.He was an artist by music, violin was his instrument. I'm a visual artist, by way of drawing, painting, and sculpting metal into jewelry.Albert was a professor, I am a teacher.
