Foundation Builders

In heaven;

Heavenly Father asked each person to help build a house on earth for generations after them. It had to be a good, strong house with a firm foundation that could withstand any storm on earth and protect a whole generation. Many people volunteered eager to help and build up a city together. "When the city is build, I will come down and dwell with you." said Jesus. "But before that you have to meet the judges at judgment hall and receive your rewards".

Different missions needed:
Some spots had nice soft soil you could dig to quickly make a foundation for a house.
Other spots had rocks, toxic fumes and gases in the ground where no one thought you could build a house on.
Some foundations had already been built and a person was needed to build up the body of the house.
Other houses were already build and a person was only needed to put up the finishing touches on the house.
What ever the assignment we all agreed to work together to help each other out so that we can get finished faster.
Everyone was eager for the Lord to come down and dwell with us.

Some of us were needed as the foundation builders for a house. To build a sure foundation that would last forever.
Others were needed as the body builders for a house that already had a foundation build by their ancestors or parents.
And yet others were needed as the finishers to put up the finishing touches on the house that was already finished by the foundation and body builders before them.

The foundations builders had the hardest job and no one wanted to do it. They had to take the raw earth and fight the elements, face the dangers of toxic fumes and rock and dig deep in the earth. But they were promised the biggest blessings when they returned home if they continued and did not give up before the foundation had been built.

The body builders were the most excited because their work would be noticed while they were on earth. Eager to show forth their beautiful house with the foundation build and ready. But they were warned that if they only focused on their work and forgot to serve and help the foundation builders, they would not receive a reward in heaven.

The finishers had the easiest job. So they were the most relaxed. All they had to do was decorate, their job was the easiest. But they were warned that their main job was to support the foundation builders, not only to decorate their houses because they had the most time on their hands and if they did not do it then they would loose everything.

So both the body builders and the finishers were asked to pay special attention to the foundation builders once they got to earth because the foundation builders job was very hard. They needed extra attention and help to so they can keep going and not give up. Before they left they promised to be there one for another and hugged and kissed each other believing that they can accomplish anything.

Earth;

Foundation builders had strong and valiant spirits build to withstand any danger that would befall them.
So they were born on the earth eager to start building a brand new foundation.
But when they got to earth they were dismayed to see how much work had to be done. In spite of the pain they begun their work. There were hours of labor, discouragement and sorrow as the toxic fumes almost made them pass out several times. They got tired easily because all day they lifted the heavy rocks and dug deep in the earth.

One day a foundation builder took a break from her work and walked around the neighborhood to see how the city was doing. She was amazed to see that some houses were already build. She saw a lady looking out her window and waved at her asking: "what curtains should I put up in my window, red or green, which ones do you like?"
The foundation builder looked up at the beautiful house, at every detail of the beauty the house was build out of and then looked at the big brown messy hole she was digging in and asked herself: "What am I doing? My neighbor is putting up curtains while I dig in the earth. I want to be putting up curtains like her instead of digging in the earth."

Then she saw a beautiful garden and in the middle of that garden she saw a house being build by a cheerful body builder. The builder was working very hard and when she saw her she said to her to get some apples from her garden to help her with her work. Then she asked herself; "And where is my garden? I have no time to build one because of my heavy labor on the foundation that I am building."

Discouraged she sat down on the ground and cried. The dirty hole was her spot and she could not change places with the finisher or the body builder because they were building their own houses. She wanted to give up, go home to heaven and abandon her project. But then she thought of all the generations that would come after her. They will need a house to live in, with a sure foundation. She could not let them down. What would they think of her if she quit now? Covering her eyes, so as not to look at the beautiful houses and gardens around her she quickly ran back to her hole to dig. As she digged she could see the faces of her children and grandchildren calling out to her; "mother, where is our sure foundation so we can build a house?" The work was hard and discouraging, but she never gave up. Before she died the foundation was finished ready for the next generation to build the body of the house.

The city was almost finished. Some of the finishers laughed and became lazy saying that their work would be so simple they could wait right before the Lord came and would be able to finish their job with ease. Piece of cake. They thought they had a lot of time on their hands living in houses already build that they did not worry and decided they had all the time in the world to play before the Lord came to his city. Who cares about some stupid curtains, they said, lets have some fun and enjoy the riches we have been given by our ancestors.

Some of the finishers even looked at the foundations builders and made fun of them for looking so dirty and would laugh saying: "look at their ugly hands. Have you ever seen uglier hands then the foundation builders hands? I sure haven't hahahaha." Some foundation builders gave up and left leaving no legacy behind to follow. Also some of the body builders did not care to build up a house so they decided to live only using the foundation as their home. Benefiting from the work of their parents but never improving on it.

There were also the faithful body builders and finishers who gave courage and cheered on the foundations builders who had the hardest job. They stood by the foundation builders encouraging them to keep going and not to give up.
Finishers would share with them the stories of their own foundations builders that have already passed. They said that those are the most honored in their family for the sure foundation that they had build for them in generations past. This gave the foundation builders courage to keep going and to never give up.
Also some of the body builders shared their garden fruit and vegetables with the foundation builders so they would not faint for the want of food. That helped our foundation builders to live longer and be strong enough to finish their job. Faithful foundation builders were blessed with friends all around them if they kept building and working hard.

Spirit World;

The end came sooner then expected. All the people were going home leaving the earth and the city they had build.
It was time for inspection and evaluation of their labor on earth. They were asked to enter the judgment hall starting with the finishers.

The finishers that decorated and beautified their homes and cheered on the foundation builders were rewarded first. They were given lands as their own to build their houses on. Glad to receive an amazing reward for their labors they got to work and began to build beautiful homes of their own.
While the finishers who did not improve on their homes on earth, and who made fun of the foundation builders were thrown out and were given nothing at all.

The body builders were next eager for their reward. Those who were faithful and who cheered on the foundation builders and build beautiful bodies for their houses received lands with foundations already build for them. They rejoiced to once again be able to build their own homes on a heavenly land that would last forever.

Now it was time for the foundation builders. Foundation builders mind you were very tired indeed. Their hands were worn to almost nothing. They did not look very good after the hard labor they did on earth. Because of their sad appearance their heads were bowed with shame, covering their broken hands behind them hoping no one would see what they had gone trough in order to build a foundation.

As they walked into the judgment hall all the excited voices were hushed. And there was a complete silence in the room. All of a sudden all the finishers and body builders bowed in humble reverence at the appearance of the foundation builders. The judges came up to them and thanked them for the hardest job on earth and put crowns on their heads. "These will be made queens and kings and they will be blessed above all." said the judges. Then they were shown their rewards. They were given lands and castles already build for them.

One foundation builder came up to her beautiful castle marveling at the magnificent structure that was build just for her. All around the castle was a fruitful garden. She walked into her castle amazed at the beautiful furniture all around her. Then she came up to one of the windows of her castle and realized the there were no curtains on her windows. Looking out of her window she was surprised to see the same finisher lady she envied down on earth calling out to her. To her surprised she noticed that the finisher lady had all kinds of colors of fabric in the world around her. "What are those for?" she asked the finisher. Her finisher friend answered: "Don't you know my lady, they are for you. You are to choose your very own curtains. Your family did not want to decide what colors of curtains you wanted while they were building the castle for you. So come over here and pick your favorite color and I promise to make you the most beautiful curtains the world has ever seen. You have done so much for your family, you deserve everything that is best."

The foundation builder got tears in her eyes and sat down on the golden floor of her castle and cried once again. But this time it was a prayer of thanks. As she cried she was shown the faces of all the people in heaven that were building a castle for her at the very same time that she was struggling to build a rough foundation down on earth for them.
