Maybe it was a song from the Old World, maybe it was a traditional lullaby. Maybe it was a hymn, or a Christmas carol, or the newest chart topper. It didn't matter, as long as it was the sweet melody of our Mothers and Grandmothers or the strength and resonance of our Fathers and Grandfathers.
